No face is perfectly symmetrical. Try photographing someone face on, open the image in Photoshop and select half the face, then select “Layer Via Copy” use the Flip Horizontal tool and then drag the half face across to make a symmetrical image.

The finishing touches were added using Mextures and Afterlight for iPhone to create a surreal, dreamlike image.

Angkor Wat (Hipstamatic Style)

I finally made it to Angkor Wat (I’ve been busy) I took my DSLR but I couldn’t resist some random Hipstamatic action. It’s impossible to capture the sheer scale of this place, so I didn’t even try.

From the first shoot of the year on New Year’s Day.

Sunset Coming On

I realise I should be posting more content, so I will try and post something everyday (when possible) I’ll try to maintain a level of quality.

Sunset Coming On

After being incredibly busy with graphic design projects, I’ve finally had some time to edit some older photos. This set was originally shot in January. I wanted to create a vintage photographic print look (which I hope was successful)

Special thanks to Kiyomi for being a great model.

Alice in Randomland [iPhone Fashion Photography]

I’m doing an illustration for a 150th anniversary edition of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”

As luck would have a a local model had an Alice costume so I thought I’d kill two birds with stone and do an Alice photo shoot and also get some reference shots for the illustration. I’ll post the Alice series when I have time to edit the photos.

In the meantime I grabbed some iPhone shots using the Hipstamatic App before the shoot ended. I used the random settings, which means shaking the iPhone after every shot (sometimes people stare when I do that)
