My first shoot of 2015. Taken in Chiang Mai with the wonderful Gillianna using a Nikon DSLR and an analogue 50mm f/1.4 lens.

This was created by creating a composite image of four separate photographs with Adobe Photoshop and enhanced with Afterligh and Mextures for iPhone.

I realise I should be posting more content, so I will try and post something everyday (when possible) I’ll try to maintain a level of quality.

Sunset Coming On

Welcome to Jazz Club

I headed up into the hills of North Wales to watch some Jazz and see some great musicians. I got to do a little bit of drumming as well.

I decided to take my Canon 60D and was able to grab a few shots in between playing.

The colour images didn’t seem right, so I decided to convert them to black and white using Adobe Camera RAW. I also added some textured layers in Photoshop to give the images a vintage feel.

Hipstamatic Comparisons: Part 5 BlacKeys B+W Film

Despite being a black and white there seems to be some muted colours in some of the prints. Continuing a predictable pattern the John S and Lucifer VI produce the best shots and the Susie and Adler 9009 produce the weakest. The Watts and Chunky also performed well and the randomness of the Salvador 84 is it’s usual “hit or miss” self.
